Dewald and I decided to go out and capture the full moon rising. It was mid winter and the weather was extremely bad. We did not have the exact time of the moon rising so we had to wait way longer than anticipated. With the icy wind reaching Gail force status I just kept on painting. This was, without a doubt, one of the most difficult painting experiences of my life, but, oh so rewarding.
